Dr Costanza Galanti - ERC PhD Student (2018-23)

Costanza Galanti commenced her doctoral studies as ERC PhD Scholarship student in September 2018. Her dissertation focuses on Italian and Romanian healthcare and domestic care workers' unions. In particular, she looks at how these unions' reactions to the EU's New Economic Governance (NEG) regime are articulated transnationally and trans-occupationally. Her degree was awarded jointly with the Department of Sociology, University of Padova, Italy.

Costanza continued her career with a postdoctoral Fulbright Scholarship at Cornell University, Ithaca NY.
